Do you want to dream lucidly? Knowing that you want to have a lucid dream is a good start, but it’s not all you’ll need to do. There are several different methods you can use.

You’ll need to think about why you want to be a lucid dreamer, as well as the benefits of it. First, we’ll take a look at normal sleeping.

Why is lucid dreaming different from normal sleep? When you lie down to go to sleep, your eyes close and hopefully you go to sleep. When you wake up you remember dreaming something or you don�t remember anything at all.Kind of strange when you think about it.

Normal sleep is just a method of refreshing ourselves for the busyness of the next day.However, it could be a lot more interesting if you could control the period of time in which you’re dreaming.

How would you like to control what you do while in your dream? Control the events that happen in it in any way you like. A lucid dreamer is in complete control of their dreams.They are able to enter the spiritual realm of existence far removed from what exists in the physical waking hours.

So if you want to become a lucid dreamer how do you do it? There are actually two ways. The first way is having a dream-initiated lucid dream (DILD), which is where the dreamer is in a dream and then realizes that they are, restoring their sense of consciousness within the dream.

The second way is having a wake-initiated lucid dream (WILD); where the dreamer goes from being awake, to being asleep with no change in consciousness. In other words, the dreamer enters their dream as if it were a door, rather than just “waking up” in a dream.

So, what methods can you use to induce these kinds of lucid dreaming states?

Remember your dreams.

If you’re interested in lucid dreaming, dream recall is one of the most effective ways of learning to do it. Dream recall is the ability to remember your dreams. If you remember them, you’re more likely to be able to recognize them while you’re asleep. That’s because most of us have the same dreams or dream elements more than once.

The way to practise dream recall is by keeping a dream journal. The dream journal is meant as a tool to write down anything you can remember about your dream, in order to recall it for the future. This should be done right after waking up; otherwise dreams will become harder to remember.

Mnemonic Induction of Lucid Dreams (MILD)

This is a technique that was developed by Dr. Stephen LaBerge, one of the lead scientists studying lucid dreaming. The intent here is to simply tell yourself that you will remember something, like an object for example and then in the dream, when you see this object you will realize it is a dream.

Wake-Back-to-Bed (WBTB)

The way you do this one is, only plan on sleeping for a few hours like five or six. Set your alarm if you need to so you will wake up. After you have slept the few hours and wake up, stay up. Find something to do to stay awake. Do a little house work; Think about what you might like to do in your lucid dreams. Return to bed in an hour.

According to Stephen LaBerge, there is a 60% success rate of this technique. The reason why is that you would have woken up during the process of sleep, meaning that your mind is not fully aware of this, and are still in the middle of REM cycle. So basically, it’s like going to your mind and telling it that you want to lucid dream.

Cycle Adjustment Technique

Created by Daniel Love, this method involves setting an alarm to wake you one and a half hours before your normal wake-up time. Once you get used to this early time, alternate your alarm between a normal time and the early one. When your alarm is set to wake you normally, you’ll find your body’s already ready to wake up early. That makes it more likely that you’ll wake up in your dream, and dream lucidly.

Wake-initiation of Lucid Dreams (WILD)

The trick is to keep your conscious mind aware and let your physical body sleep. This can prove to be very interesting. Lay back, close your eyes and wait for your dream to begin. Imagine you have put a movie in the DVD player and you are waiting for it to begin. Focus on the black screen until your dream begins to play out.

You need to stay aware; it is a lot like self hypnosis. This is not a good exercise to try when you are tired as your mind may not stay as aware. Try to focus on things that require brain activity such as doing math puzzles, jogging or anything to keep your mind active. Breathe evenly and focus on relaxing every part of your body.

They now have tools you can use to make it even easier to induce lucid dreams. You can get dreaming masks and devices with strobe lights to help you get into the right state of dreaming.

One of the easiest, most reliable methods to induce lucid dreaming is by listening to binaural beats and special sound frequencies through headphones.

These work because they’re able to synchronize both brain hemispheres, giving the effect of an almost instantaneous change to the frequency used in REM sleep, which is also necessary for lucid dreaming.

Combined with the self hypnosis sessions and affirmations to prepare your subconscious mind beforehand, becoming a lucid dreamer is something that everyone can now experience!

What is meant by manifesting abundance? We have all heard many new age gurus tell us that life is what we make it. If most of us spent a few moments and thought about it, we heard those sentiments before. Perhaps it was our grandmother that was trying to encourage us when we were down and out. Even our own inner voice is telling us the truth. The problem is most people never listen to these ‘voices’ and do not realize that they themselves and no-one else is responsible for their current life. The point is that at some point in our life we have each had someone tell us that we are the masters of our own destiny� that we can make our life be whatever we wanted. The power to manifest abundance is within you and only you can control the manifesting process in your life.

Somewhere, at some point long ago someone tried to tell you that you were the master of your own destiny, that you could do anything you put your mind to. The ability to manifest abundance is in you and only you can control the process of manifesting in your life.

Face the facts, the reason that your life is less than perfect for you right now, is because that is the way you want it. That’s right, the miserable marriage, the lack of success at work, the missed promotion, the clunker of a car… you wanted it all, and you’ve got it. You are the one that is responsible for manifesting everything in your life… and therefore only you can change it.

�Think and believe that you have plenty of money. You have to consciously pay attention to your thoughts. You don�t want to slip and let the old thoughts sneak in. If you want to manifest abundance, you have to think that you already have everything you want in your life. Like attracts like, which means if you are focusing on the good it is going to bring more good in your life. You can improve your life, you can have the life you want� you and only you can manifest abundance in your life.

To change these things you have to change what you are thinking about. The essential component to manifesting abundance is positive thought. Right now, you have to start focusing on the good things in your life, the good things in your relationships. Take a moment and realize just how lucky you are, how fortunate. You woke up today, you are living in a warm place, and there is food in your belly and clothes on your back. Be grateful for all of these things. Next to positive thought, gratefulness is just as vital. If you can’t appreciate what you have, how can you ever have more?

First and foremost, you need to stop blaming other people for your misfortune, bearing in mind that the life you have now is simply a result of the way you think. Even though you may be thinking that you want to become rich, you want to be successful, and you want to be happy, you’re still not focusing on the good things you have.

Do yourself a favor and try one of these experiments so that you can see for yourself how changing the way you think can effectively change your life. First of all, you need to immediately stop thinking about how much money you would like to have, and you need to stop worrying about your debts. This is something you need to start doing immediately. From this moment on you need to think about how much money you already have, and you need to think about the fact that you have been more money to pay for everything you have.

Consciously pay attention to your thoughts. It gets easier in time, but you don’t want to slip up and end up back in a less then desirable place. Appreciate what you have, the money you have and that you are happy. If you want to have an abundant life, then you need to think that you have already manifested abundance.

Remember, positive attracts positive, and negative attracts negative. If you spend your time thinking about the good things in your life, you’ll end up attracting more good things, and this of course will mean that you can begin improving the life you have. Above all, you need to realize that you are the only person in the world that can manifest abundance in your life.
